Jon Turner, PE Principal

A Professional Engineer who loves his job and the chance to run his own business. Jon Turner is a professional civil engineer with over 20 years of experience both in the private and public sectors in California. Jon is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys hiking, kayaking, the beach, and taking his most favorite dog on walks. ​

Jon Turner is also a two time winner of DESIGN ENGINEER OF THE YEAR for 2011 and 2014 by the California Special Districts Association- Santa Barbara County Chapter.

Roslynn Turner, Business Manager

The acting accountant, part-time assistant drafter and catch-all technical assistant.  Ms. Turner is still unsure what she wants to be when she grows up, but is still pursuing interests in marine biology, coffee, comedy, banjo playing, hiking, and travelling; as well as spending time with Lucy (the best girl bulldog ever).

Alison Smith, Senior Designer

Ali has joined our team as the new AutoCAD expert.  Ali has an extensive background civil design and has worked on projects throughout the County.  If you are lucky enough she may share her secrets for making chocolate or let you try one of her culinary masterpieces. Go Vikings!

Kathleen Bosworth, Admin. Assistant

Kathleen is the front of house for Phoenix.  She helps with anything and everything, including answering the phone.  Say hi next time you give us a call.  You may also catch her on stage!

Alex Munoz, Assistant Engineer

Alex is a recent addition to Phoenix.  He is a recent Mechanical Engineer graduate of the University of California - Irvine Samueli School of Engineering.

Jesus Rodriguez, Construction Inspector

Our newest member of the team.  Jesus will be the eyes and ears in the field.  He has joined Phoenix after years of experience in the construction industry.

Fred Rizzo, Founding Partner

After many years of design work, Fred has decided not to renew his AutoCAD license.  Fred has moved on to enjoy retirement on the East Coast where he will have more time to improve his ping-pong skills.
